I figured it was about time I started this blog. I have been procrastinating for quite awhile as to what this blog would develop into but figured to just jump in and go with it. As my blog indicates "It's all about the wool" which is my creative passion in life. I am otherwise known as Fully Wooly Primitives.
I imagine I will be rambling on about wool - rug hooking - dyeing - punch needle - cooking - reading and doggie lore. It will be my sounding board and a record of where I am and where I will be at the end of the year. What better time to start than at the beginning of the year -
Just got myself a new digital camera so now picture taking is a lot easier. Had one of the original old ones and came to a point where you never knew if the darn thing would work. What a chore.
I have a few days left of Christmas holidays so plan on experimenting with making some soy soap - ok it is not wool but I dabble in many things. My list is long and very optimistic along with cleaning out the sewing studio - (not likely) too busy creating. We had a rug challenge issued in my PRHG eBay group and I am madly working on that. Can't show any pictures until after January 6th - it's hush hush - but I am loving it. Peter (my better half) says it is not the usual colours I work with - but that is what a challenge is all about and hopefully it brings you out of your comfort zone and you develop more as an artist.
Now off to to bake a batch of rugelach (cream cheese pastries) for my New Year's day offering to family. If it turns out well - you will see a pic, if not - better not to see.
Happy New Year!
